With VIP already being a phenomenal success in both Telugu and Tamil, the expectations on its sequel are mighty high. Alongside Dhanush reprising his role as the enterprising mechanical engineer Raghuvaran, and several of the cast members from the original (Amala Paul, Samuthirakani,Vivek, etc) making a comeback, another reason for all the anticipation around the film is the inclusion of Bollywood diva Kajol who is making her comeback to south cinema after nearly two decades!
In a bid to reach all the expectations, great care has been taken by the film’s producers Wunderbar Films and V Creations, who have left no stone unturned to ensure this film is able to match up to the quality of its predecessor. With music by Sean Roldan (songs and BGM) and Anirudh Ravichander (BGM), this film will surely be a treat to the ears too.
The film is a pakka commercial entertainer which is set to appeal to both the masses and the classes, and has been directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth. Set to release on July 28, this one is surely going to be a film worth waiting for!
